Dana Hradcová works as the managing director of the Centre of expertise in Longevity and Long-term Care at the Faculty of Humanities, Charles University. As a researcher and consultant, she is involved in projects dedicated to the life with cognitive dis/ability. She studies experiences of people identified as disabled. Her field of study is ethics of care and practical and empirical ethics mostly in social and health services. As a lecturer and assistant, she cooperates with caregivers and self-advocates. She teaches empirical ethics approaches to students of Longevity Studies and Applied Ethics.
