On Thursday, May 9, 2019, from 10 am to 12 pm, a public seminar entitled "Care and Maintenance: A Double Trouble of Residential Care" will be held in the Center for Theoretical Studies (Husova 4, Prague 1). Zdeněk Konopásek, Radek Carboch, Dana Hradcová and Michal Synek will present a new project Vulnerable residents in fragile residences: An inquiry into tensions of residential care.
On March 27 - 28, 2019 the third annual international conference named "(eng)aging!" will be held in Prague. This year's theme is "New technologies: an opportunity or challenge for an aging population?"
The conference will be held in English.
On May 14, 2019, our colleagues Mgr. Dana Hradcová, Ph.D. and Mgr. Michal Synek will take part in the international workshop called "The Practices and Politics of Description" at Liverpool University.
